Back after twenty-four years one of the most beloved models of luxury streetwear, exclusively by Michele Franzese

World premiere on Friday 11th January by Michele Franzese for the brand new Nike Air Max2 Light, the latest in the home of the global luxury streetwear brand.

It is, for fans of the genre, a shoe absolutely not to be missed, practically collectible, and already long lines are expected to be able to grab the first models.

The Nike Air Max2 Light indeed debuted for the first time in 1994, and was the sequel to the 1989 Air Max Light.

To kick off the new year, the OG runner is back in a bold gold edition of the University model.

Made of mesh and leather, the bright tone is used for its mesh underlays while the white leather overlays wrap around the base.

On the Swooshes are applied red flash spots, followed by blue accents on the tongue, outer sole and Air Max bubble unit to complete the style.

Already appreciated by most in its initial version for its highly technical four-chamber unit, the shoe is equipped with two different pressure systems: the AM2 Light is a favorite of Air Max in the world, and is lighter than the one of the original Air Max 2.

Now, given the long pause from the windows, the surprising color “University Gold” will undoubtedly make a triumphant return to the market.

A bright yellow gold mesh serves as a basis for the reworking of the classic model, giving a glam look to the hyper sporty model, while the aggressive style overlays recall a simple white skin: an interesting and vibrant design that culminates with the warm crimson of the Swoosh that reaches up to the heel, in fact, to provide an extra contrast that is repeated even on the tongue.
