At every corner of the center of Milan, or almost, a beautiful model with stunning outfits, wrapped in precious fabrics is cared for by photographers, hair stylists, make up artists, surrounded by a crowd of onlookers. In the streets of the city, blocked in a crazy traffic, also a lot of cars with darkened windows and, everywhere, the insiders show off eccentric attires and speak all the languages ​​of the world.

The Fashion Week Woman also offers this ‘show’, for everyone, in addition to the 140 fashion shows and more than 40 private events.

But there are those who managed to combine the two things, the fashion show and the event: Emporio Armani has ‘taken off’ his creations in the Linate airport hangar, with a concert by the English singer Robbie Williams who has bewitched all. While Vogue Italia celebrated Mina’s 60th career with a party for a thousand guests, at the Manzoni cinema, where the Maneskin performed.

 

All waiting for the “grand finale”, the “sustainable” catwalk at La Scala with VIPs and international personalities like Cate Blanchett, Cindy Crawford, Julianne Moore and Colin Firth guests of the Green Carpet Fashion Award 2018 (Gcfa), the Sustainability Oscars organized from the National Chamber of Fashion together with EcoAge, with the support of Mise, ICE and the Municipality of Milan. It ranges from the shimmering transparencies of Ermanno Scervino to the romanticism of pastel colors by Alberta Ferretti, from the glamor of Versace to the active wear of Fendi, with pockets, belts and waistbands worn like an it-girl.

Moschino brings the back stage of the atelier on the catwalk with clothes in the shape of scissors, meters of dressmaker and rolls of fabric worn as accessories and Prada brings back prints and motifs of the seventies. Among the most famous famous faces around without a doubt the Ferragnez. Then Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls, Leona Lewis, Luke Evans, Rita Ora, Halima Aden, the Somali model born in a refugee camp in Kenya parading with a veil. In the modeling group, the focus is on Gigi and Bella Hadid, Vittoria Ceretti (one of the few Italian top models) and Kendall Jenner.
