Virgil Abloh took a taste of bling bling. After making his debut in January with the first Recycled Jumbo paper clip collection for him, today the designer comes back with another line of off-white bijoux, this time decidedly more feminine.

The creations “from the popular but sophisticated soul” designed for autumn-winter 2019/2020 and dedicated to her are composed of bracelets, necklaces, earrings and rings in materials ranging from brass, to titanium to aluminum, with finishes in palladium and gold. Each model is decorated with enamel or crystal logos, in the name of splashes of color such as orange, fuchsia, blue and green, which go well with the fluorescent shades of the brand’s clothing collections.

The Sweetheart series spearhead is composed of a necklace, a bracelet and a galvanic nickel ring inspired by the jewels given by American soldiers to their girlfriends during the first World War I; followed by the Arrow series, featuring the brand’s arrow, and the Hexnut bolt-shaped series. And again, a set of three rings, hoop earrings and earcuffs in different sizes and composed of variants in nickel and gold, pavé of Swarovski or finished in colored enamel.

Although Abloh has declared that his jewelry line is mainly unisex, there is no doubt that the new creations lend themselves to a more feminine look. Even if all the It Girls to wear it will have to wait for the summer, when the Off-White jewels collections will arrive in the most prestigious boutiques as well as in some selected retailers like Galeries Lafayette in France.
