The streetwear brand Vans launches Channel 66, a digital broadcasting program that wants to make up for the lack of live initiatives due to a health emergency. The name is a tribute to 1966, the year the brand was founded. Channel 66 includes interventions focused on the heritage and subculture of the various protagonist cities and interventions by DJs, talk shows and live performances that also involve art and sport. The events will exploit the pre-existing locations of the brand in various cities of the States: The General in Brooklyn New York, House of Vans Chicago, Mexico City and Vans Downtown Los Angeles. The livestreams host many musicians, including exponents of punk and rap, but also writers, poets and experts on city life.
