Change at the top of Trussardi. After only one year in the role, Maela Mandelli has left the position of CEO of the Italian maison. In his place, COO Giuseppe Pinto took over, with the position of interim CEO. The manager joined the company last September to accelerate the development and internationalization plan promoted by QuattroR Sgr, the asset management company that has held 70 percent of the Trussardi group since February. Mandelli has been managing director of the Netherlands, Greece, Middle East and Africa of Pvh Corporation for six years, the multibrand group which owns, among others, the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands. Previously, he gained experience in Diesel and Nike. Pinto, on the other hand, was COO of Sergio Rossi for three years, after 13 years in the role of CFO and COO of Pomellato.
