Ford was elected chairman of the CFDA on March 19 last year.
The CFDA – Council of Fashion Designers of America moved to California. According to reports from WWD, in fact, the first initiative of Tom Ford as chairman of the American trade association, which brings together designers of clothing and accessories, would be to move the headquarters from New York to Beverly Hills, in the area of Los Angeles. Steven Kolb, CFDA chief executive officer, would also be looking for accommodation in the City of Angels.
