Tom Ford leaves New York Fashion week

Tom Ford, president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, left New York fashion week on the eve of his digital presentation. The lookbook of the fall / winter 2021-22 collection will be shared on the Runway360 digital platform starting from Friday 26 February. Already reduced to 4 days and devoid of historical names such as Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren and Michael Kors, Nyfw thus loses the only great name of world excellence left on the calendar. Ford’s new appointment will be part of the American Collections Calendar, the new inclusive formula created by the Texan designer that includes all the American brands not present at Nyfw. Carolina Herrera’s fashion show is scheduled for February 23, the same date also for Coach. Oscar de la Renta is scheduled for March 2, followed by Rick Owens, Altuzarra and Thom Browne.
