Tom Ford has been included in the Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame. The designer, who was recently named new President of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), the association of American designers, will be awarded during the awards ceremony on June 5 in New York. Ford, which launched its first fragrance in 2007, has created a true beauty empire in collaboration with Estée Lauder. which today has more than forty fragrances. “The smell, in its many iterations, is something for which I have always had a strong passion. So being now recognized for my work in this area by the prestigious Fragrance Foundation is a real honor, “he said in reference to the recognition.
