“We are the clothes” is the theme of the new issue of Vanity Fair Italy, dedicated to fashion in its most human version and therefore to all operators in the fashion system, from seamstresses to artisans to sales staff, passing through buyers and store managers. For the occasion, the The Best Shops community supports the cause by joining a digital flashmob and publishing an Instastory on individual accounts reporting the words “Gli Abiti Siamo Siamo Noi” (“we are the clothes”), using the hashtag #GliAbitiSiamoNoi and tagging both @vanityfairitalia and @camerabuyer. The instagram profile of Vanity fair Italy will repost each story to strengthen this mass communication operation. The aim of the initiative is to give full awareness of how fashion is not only made up of big players and names, but of craft and culture, of often forgotten professions, of people and hearts.
