Partnership between Stella Mc Cartney, Google and WWF in the direction of sustainability in the creation of the Global Fiber Impact Explorer (Gfie) platform which allows information on sustainable procurement strategies for materials. The tool is now under review by the Textile Exchange, a non-governmental association focused on raw materials in the textile industry, with the aim of providing global access to the platform for labels and research groups in 2022. The British designer helped Google in understanding the needs of the industry and tested the platform. Other brands will be able to enter the platform. Adidas, H&M and Vf Corporation have already participated in the development of the tool. Tools such as Gfie will help companies choose their supply sources more wisely during the material supply phase.
