Dior looks to ‘see now-buy now’ and immediately sends Maria Grazia Chiuri’s pre-fall 2021 collection presented a few days ago at Shanghai Fashion Week to boutiques. Some items were even available for immediate delivery on the evening of the presentation, including a new version of the ‘Caro’ bag, which will be launched exclusively in China for a month. The show by the French fashion house was seen in live streaming by 126 million people on Dior’s platforms and on nine Chinese social media channels, including Tmall. The collection was staged in a gigantic disco set, with a staircase decorated with a leopard print, glittering gold walls and huge disc strobe balls. A totally pop proposal inspired by the factory of Andy Warhol and Elio Fiorucci.
