The Scottish startup Cashmere Circle launches an ecological service to recycle cashmere garments, allocating them to sale at low prices. The idea comes from Scottish entrepreneur Belinda Dickson, founder of Belinda Robertson Cashmere and a member of the board of directors of the UK Fashion and Textiles Association, who together with a graduate of the University of Edinburgh, Ross Powell, helped luxury fashion to adopt a circular economy model. The startup has partnered with Edinburgh Innovations, which supports researchers, students and industry to support innovation in the textile sector. A training program will also ensure the transfer of skills to the next generations.
