Sarah Jessica Parker is new owner of the historic New York boutique of Manolo Blahnik. The luxury footwear brand made famous by Carrie Bradshaw, a character played by the American actress in “Sex and the city”, closed its US store at 31 Midtown West 54th Street last November. From next spring, in the same location where some episodes of the show were filmed in which the actress was a fan of Blahnik, there will be the Sjp by Sarah Jessica Parker store, a shoe brand founded six years ago by Parker. The offices and showroom of the made in Italy shoe brand will also move to the same address, which also includes accessories, glasses, perfumes, beach towels, candles and books. Sarah Jessica Parker defines on Instagram the new 120sqm store “a new house that has an emotional value for many reasons”.
