Première Vision lifted the curtain yesterday in Paris and, for the future, will play ahead. The French exhibition dedicated to the universe of fabrics, textile accessories, leather and textile design, has in fact announced that, starting from 2021, the edition dedicated to the S / S collections will take place between the end of January and the beginning of February, while the one dedicated to the A / I will be held in the first half of July. The first appointments have already been defined: from 2 to 4 February 2021, and from 6 to 8 July 2021. The choice to bring forward the traditional dates (mid February for the P / E and mid September for the A / I) responds the needs of buyers regarding the selection of materials and inspiration. Première Vision takes place one week after Pitti Filati, which takes place in early July. Furthermore, it is positioned on the exact dates established for 2021 by its Italian competitor, Milano Unica, both in February and in July. The overlap is temporary, because the Milanese show has already announced that in 2022 it will be held later, from 12 to 14 July 2022.
