Roberto Cavalli announces Ennio Fontana as the new general manager. In the past, Fontana was general manager of Philipp Plein. Gian Giacomo Ferraris will leave his position as CEO of Roberto Cavalli at the end of the year. The Tuscan brand is now owned by the founder and president of Damac Properties, Hussain Sajwani, through his private investment company Vision Investments, which took over the company from Clessidra Sgr in 2019. In recent months, the company has gone under the spotlight for the conflicting decision of the owners to transfer the headquarters of the maison (and beyond the workers’ center) from Sesto Fiorentino to Milan.
