Prada, the fashion house led by Patrizio Bertelli and Miuccia Prada, illustrates the data for 2019, closed with revenues of 3.226 billion euros, up 3%. The net profit of the group, which includes the brands Prada, Miu Miu, Church’s and Car Shoe, reached € 256 million. The excellent growth trend recorded in the second half of 2019 and stopped in January 2020, due to the Covid 19 virus. As for the geographical areas in which Prada is present, Europe grew by 6%, America and Japan by 11 % and 9%. Asia Pacific shows a drop of 2 percent. On April 2nd, Raf Simons will join the group as creative co-director of the admiral brand, together with Miuccia Prada. The first ‘four hands’ collection will be on the catwalk in September.
