Florence is once again the capital of men’s fashion and kidswear: the Italian city will in fact host the new editions of Pitti Immagine Uomo 101 and Pitti Immagine Bimbo 94 at Fortezza dal basso from 11 to 13 January 2022, which are back in attendance after the last digital edition. held on the Pitti connect platform.
The theme: Pitti reflections
Presentations and events planned in all physical spaces: the theme and leitmotif of the installations created under the creative direction of Angelo Figus in collaboration with Alessandro Moradei, will be “Pitti reflections“, interior and exterior reflections with new windows to look beyond, referring to a new beginning.

There will be many international presences among the exhibitors, to underline the need to meet and to restart. Attendance to Pitti Uomo 101 by exhibitors is already more than 560, increasing if compared to last summer edition, with well-known names including Galeries Lafayette, Neiman Marcus, Printemps, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges. Almost all the brands that will participate in the presence are also part of the digital platform Pitti Connect, already active since last December 7th. The numbers are growing for both exhibitors and buyers, both from Italy and Europe. The Asian presence will still be limited. North America, the Middle East and Russia boast numerous and significant presences.
The event will be divided into three different macro-areas, which will tell the different souls of today’s menswear: the classic, the outdoor and the new stylistic canons with the great importance of sustainability.
In Fantastic Classic there is a selection of authoritative brands that, starting from the codes of the masculine classic, look for new details and combinations.
The brands in the Dynamic Attitude area will show their passion for the outdoors as a meeting point between sport and streetwear, combining in their collections an elegant design, contaminated by vintage, but also innovative, energetic and technological.
Finally, in Superstyling the aesthetic choices outside the box stand out, supported by sartorial and dynamic skills capable of intercepting new identities and giving answers to multiple expressive needs.
In the next edition of Pitti Immagine Uomo, the fourth edition of Sustainable Style will also be confirmed, the exhibition project that has attracted the attention of the press and top international buyers since its inception.
As for Pitti Bimbo, 170 brands are present, 81 of which are foreigners. There are two sections at the Fortezza da Basso: 100% Children and The Kids Lab! In the first one, top brands that have always been committed to dressing children will occupy Sala delle Nazioni, Sala della Ronda and the Rondino with a focus on luxury, tailoring, sports and urban, from newborns to teenagers. At the Strozzi Arena there will be The Kids Lab!, a section reserved for the avant-garde of kidswear and kids lifestyle.
Two special projects are also planned: I want to be green, of sustainability and ethics, and the participation of Nicoletta Costa, the writer and illustrator of children’s books who will bring Nina & Olga, protagonists of a series broadcast on Rai, to the Fortezza da Basso. Rai Play and Rai Yo-Yo.
