Pitti will host a special series of events from 2 to 4 September, when Florence will host the Dolce & Gabbana brand for three days for its Haute Couture customers. Glamorous moments will include a presentation of the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria luxury men’s clothing line inside Palazzo Vecchio, followed by a live fashion show for women. The défilé will feature Villa Bardini, a splendid 17th-century mansion with a classic Tuscan garden, which includes artificial caves, an orange grove, marble statues and fountains and a notoriously romantic roof terrace with magnificent views over Florence. The two designers will also stage a presentation of high jewelery, with a lunch inside the cloisters of the Perfume-Pharmaceutical Workshop of the church of Santa Maria Novella, and an opportunity for their wealthy customers to participate in the harvest at the note Florentine vineyard of the Antinori Winery.
