During the recent Parisian fashion week dedicated to menswear, the Japanese designer Junya Watanabe unveiled on the Comme des Garçons Man catwalk a capsule inspired by Pirelli ‘70s jackets. The collection reminds the Pirelli jacket with the classic yellow and red logo worn by technicians during Motorsport races. It’s made up of 4 models (2 coats, 1 jacket and 1 t-shirt). The clothes take up and update the silhouette of vintage garments with the insertion of new materials. The double-breasted jacket, the classic coat and the raincoat are renewed in style, but retain the colors and details that still make the Pirelli brand recognizable today.
