The designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, creative director of the Valentino fashion house, will be the next guest, on Tuesday 21 May, of “The Atelier” with Alina Cho, the ‘conversations’ of the journalist with the fashion greats taking place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York
Since being at the head of Valentino, Piccioli has captured the essence of a legendary brand synonymous with elegance and craftsmanship, infusing it with new contemporary codes of beauty, grace and individuality.
Piccioli will join the journalist Alina Cho for a conversation about fashion and her narrative power, her humanistic approach to creativity and her ability to influence other sectors besides fashion, as evidenced by the fact that Piccioli was named in the list of people most influential of 2019.
Now in its sixth season, “The Atelier” with Alina Cho has had such illustrious guests as Nicolas Ghesquière, Alber Elbaz, Diane von Furstenberg, Proenza Schouler, Michael Kors, Donatella Versace and Anna Wintour.
