The show will be on February 11th and 250 guests will take part
As emerges from press rumors, the women’s fashion show of the brand is scheduled for 11 February, during the New York Fashion Week, at The Grill on 52nd Street: a two-year location in the Seagram Building in place of the legendary Four Seasons restaurant , chosen in the past by Tom Ford. The evening of the day before there will be a dinner reserved for a circle of “happy few”.
Expected to coincide with the show – which includes the performance of two international stars – also the launch of a capsule of Billionaire, a brand that in turn presented the man in the Lombard capital and of which the designer-entrepreneur holds 51% since 2016.
As happened in recent weeks, on the occasion of the Milanese fashion show at Palazzo Clerici, Plein will aim for an exclusive catwalk, for no more than 250 guests.
Already in February 2018 Plein had flown in the Big Apple, without skimping on the special effects: the former Brooklyn Navy Yard shipyard had in fact been transformed into a ski slope, with fake snow and a giant robot, which had marched holding the model Irina Shayk (pictured with the designer), descended from a spaceship.
Meanwhile, there are no updates on rumors of some time ago, which gave the label about to be sold to one or more funds, assuming the value of the deal in 700 million euro: a rumor that Plein himself was quick to deny, saying that «for that amount I do not even sit down to discuss».
