Paris, Couture week with Gaultier’s last parade

From yesterday until Thursday 23 Paris is hosting the collections of the great luxury brands such as Dior, Chanel, Givenchy, Azzaro and Schiaparelli, joined by the Italians Giorgio Armani Privé, Valentino, Giambattista Valli and Antonio Grimaldi. Do not miss the stylistic experiments of Maison Margiela, Viktor & Rolf, Iris Van Herpen and the romantic creations of Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad. Tomorrow, Wednesday 22nd, the last parade of Jean Paul Gaultier will be staged. The former enfant prodige of French fashion has announced that, in conjunction with his 50-year career, he will no longer walk the catwalks. The Couture line will not cease to exist, but it will be developed through a new concept still top secret. Starting in 2014, the designer stopped the prêt-à-porter line focusing on high fashion and its fragrances.
