The new Air Max sneaker is already available in Michele Franzese’s boutiques
Early this week, it was confirmed that the Swoosh was rolling out another version of the Air Max 97 dedicated to the country that is largely responsible for its popularity – Italy.
In 2012 – and then again in 2016 – the Swoosh dropped a silver pair of 97s with the Italian flag taking center stage on its tongue and heel tabs with foil writing on the latter.
And dow that same silhouette is being dipped in metallic gold with matching Italian influence and even more attractive gold foil writing on its heel.
Its sleek and unique style was a massive hit in numerous Italian subcultures during the late 1990’s, and its recent renaissance makes now a perfect time for Nike to show its gratitude once again.
