The National Chamber of Italian Fashion enters into a partnership for arbitration procedures administered by the Arbitration and Mediation Center of Wipo (United Nations agency specialized in intellectual property and technology). Objective: to overcome the commercial disputes of fashion brands, guaranteeing impartiality, confidentiality and the sector competence that this type of disputes require. The recognition of Wipo decisions also aroused great interest in China, a crucial market for fashion. The partnership could be useful when a dispute arises between brands or with their business partners. “The Chamber was also created to offer brands a neutral field for opportunities to meet and discuss on various issues, including that of providing its members with different points of view from which they could benefit”, explains the president of Cnmi, Carlo Capasa.
