Mummies, scarecrows, zombies, witches and ghosts: welcome to the Moschino horror show directed by Jeremy Scott, the American thinker designer who for the resort resort woman 2020 of the Milanese brand has staged his personal interpretation of the classic Hollywood horror film, where dreams become the most spectacular of nightmares.
The elements for a successful horror film, after all, are all there: the witches that emerge from the misty twilight, the movie star that runs terrified as they chase it. And again, the corpse bride, mummies, skeletons, bats and spiders that fill the scene, starting the show.
A crystal necklace is embroidered on a black crepe de chine dress, a ghostly grin on a white sequined dress, the jack-o’-lantern screenprint stands on silk petticoats with lace inserts. And yet, the black cotton dress is decorated with beaded stars and crescent moons in pastel shades.
The trenches in pvc recall blood red and electric blue and are worn on multicolor suits, scarecrow patchwork jackets and classic men’s tailored trousers. For the man, dark scars embroidered on biker jackets and neon-colored motorcycle trousers give a touch of rock to the whole.
