Tribute of Montblanc to Elizabeth Taylor, iconic actress and activist, known for her independent spirit and beauty, star of masterpieces such as ‘Cleopatra’ and ‘The giant’ and for years personally engaged in the fight against AIDS. The design of the new Montblanc Muses Elizabeth Taylor Special Edition pen is inspired by the aesthetics of the 50s and 60s and is reminiscent of an original Montblanc pen of the time. Made with a special lacquering technique, the cap and body are coated with a dark purple marbled lacquer, in homage to the diva’s eyes. In memory of his moving speech at the 2000 Glaad Media Awards, which ended with the words ‘Long live love’, the rhodium-plated Au 585 solid gold nib of the fountain pen was embellished with an engraving of these three words.
