Montblanc and Kering Eyewear have signed an agreement for the production and distribution of Montblanc brand eyewear

The two companies will work together, we read in a note, to consolidate the presence of Montblanc in the eyewear sector, putting the accent on design, performance and the creation of elegant pieces.

The Montblanc Eyewear Spring Summer 2019 collection will be unveiled in September, during the Silmo kermesse in Paris, and will then be launched internationally in January 2019, when the partnership between Montblanc and Marcolin will cease after 17 years.

“Montblanc is happy to embark on a new partnership with Kering Eyewear, a company known all over the world for the creation of the best luxury eyewear,” said Nicolas Baretzki, president and general manager of Montblanc.

To date, Kering Eyewear creates, develops and distributes glasses for 16 brands: Gucci, Cartier, Bottega Veneta, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga (as of January 2019), Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Brioni, Altuzarra, Alaïa, Boucheron, Pomellato, Puma, McQ, Christopher Kane, Tomas Maier.
