The engines of Milano Moda Uomo are heating up, the Milanese event dedicated to menswear that will present 52 collections for spring / summer 2020 from June 14th to 17th. The calendar includes 25 fashion shows, 29 presentations (of which 8 by appointment) and 26 events

 

Among the prestigious returns of this edition, Etro, Palm Angels, Philipp Plein and Stella McCartney, as well as Bed J.W. Ford, Magliano, M1992 and United Standard; on their debut on the Milanese catwalks, instead, Youser, David Catalan, Edithmarcel, Miguel Vieria, Fay, Rolf Ekroth & Terenit and Brett Johnson, some of them supported by CNMI. There will be seven co-ed fashion shows, preferred by Dsquared2, M1992, Marcelo Burlon County of Milan, Philipp Plein, Neil Barrett, Spyder and Sunnei. “The calendar for this edition responds to the challenges posed by the globalized and fluid dimension of fashion .

If we consider only exports to non-EU countries, men’s fashion represents almost 55% of total Italian fashion exports “.

Opening the dances, on June 14 at 4:00 pm, will be the fifth edition of Milano Moda Graduate, the CNMI project dedicated to the best young students of Italian fashion schools, who will present their creations at the Base room in Via Tortona, 54. To animate the first day of fashion week also Lucio Vanotti, Ermenegildo Zegna and Stella McCartney, present on the Milanese catwalks for the second time, with the spring 2020 men’s and women’s collections. On the same day, Be Blumarine will also return for the second consecutive year to present its pre-collection with an evening happening and Prada will be present with a musical event at the its Foundation.

Among the big brands that will parade or present their collections on the second day, June 15: Jimmy Choo, Trussardi, Giuseppe Zanotti, Brioni, Brune llo Cucinelli, Kiton, Emporio Armani, Marni, Versace, Canali and Philipp Plein. Sunday 16 will be the turn, among others, by Etro, Missoni, Larusmiani, MSGM, Prada and Dsquared2. Finally, on Sunday 17, which will see the Fendi and Pal Zileri shows, the fashion week will end with the Giorgio Armani show at 5.00 pm and with the CNMI Closing Event, scheduled at 7.00 pm.
