American designer Marc Jacobs returns to the scene with the presentation of the fall 2021 collection in a fashion show scheduled in the Big Apple on June 28th. The last Marc Jacobs show dates back to February 2020, since then the focus has shifted to the new Heaven label and The Marc Jacobs brand. Marc Jacobs was not among the protagonists of the online platform made available by the Council of Fashion Designers of America for the last two editions of New York fashion week. Jacobs said: “The amount of things we do is excessive, we have brought everything to such an excess that there are no more customers and we are all exhausted, no one really appreciates it. It has all become a chore that represents a waste of time, energy, money and materials. Waste has nothing to do with luxury and creativity ”.
