Loro Piana, the Italian brand owned by LVMH, appoints Damien Bertrand, current managing director of Christian Dior Couture, as new CEO. The new CEO will take office from 15 November and will take over from Fabio d’Angelantonio after 5 years. The French giant bought 80% of Loro Piana for 2 billion euros in 2013. Before joining Dior in 2016, Bertrand spent 18 years in the L’Oréal group. Loro Piana recently signed a capsule with Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of the Fragment brand.
