Gap announces the new collaboration with GQ for a limited edition capsule collection of sweatshirts made with the coolest designers on the planet including Balmain, Dsquared2, MSGM, Opening Ceremony, No Vacancy Inn, Officine Générale, Stampd and Surf is Dead.
The creatives of the eight brands reinvented the classic Gap sweatshirt, with or without hood, through the aesthetics of their brand, each designer has incorporated his logo next to that of Gap with a range of colors, graphics and custom silhouettes.
The model in collaboration with Balmain is entirely printed with the flag of America stars and stripes, the crew neck sweatshirt made with the designers of Dsquared2 is characterized by multicolor logos in neon shades, while the one with the hood of MSGM has an oversized fit and distinguished by a double red and white hood.
As part of this year’s program, Gap and GQ will donate on behalf of each designer to renowned charities including Red, the Center, Miracle Babies and Pane Quotidiano, engaged in important causes such as the fight against HIV, support to the LGBT community and free assistance to the poorest and sick children.
