Jean-Philippe Hecquet is no more CEO of Lanvin. According to reports from WWD, the manager has left the role of chief executive officer of the French maison. Hecquet landed in Lanvin in the summer of 2018, leaving Sandro and the Smcp group after four years. Joann Cheng, chairman of the parent company Fosun Fashion Group and chairman of the Lanvin board, will take on the role of chief executive officer of the interim fashion house. Founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889, the brand was acquired in 2001 by the Taiwanese magnate Shaw-Lan Wang.
