Tomorrow Kenzo will launch on its website “The Everything”, a film written and directed by Humberto Leon, Creative Director of the fashion house (together with Carol Lim), in his debut as a director. The film presents the fall / winter 2018-19 collection and the  Memento N°3

 

The film’s protagonist is a family of teenagers with supernatural powers, young actors Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Sasha Frolova; Milla Jovovich plays the boys’ mother.

Regina Hall and Jay Ellis complete the cast with Zsela and Leo Reilly; in the film there is a cameo by Spike Jonze.

It is not the first time that Kenzo chooses to make film campaigns, which have been awarded several international awards, to promote their collections.

Previously the label has collaborated with Gregg Araki, Sean Baker, Carrie Brownstein, Kahlil Joseph, Natasha Lyonnee and more recently with Ana-Lily

Amirpour for her creation “Yo! My Saint! “, A video for the musician Karen O.

La Maison has also collaborated with Spike Jonze for “My Mutant Brain”, the Kenzo World perfume commercial.
