The Japanese prêt-à-porter brand Issey Miyake announced the promotion of Takahiko Ise to the role of President

 

Takahiko Ise was so far in charge of the production division of the fashion house and it happens to Masakatsu Nagatani, who will continue to collaborate with the company as a consultant.

Takahiko Ise arrived in Issey Miyake in 1981, collaborating in the planning and production of Pleats Please Issey Miyake, Me Issey Miyake, Homme Plissé Issey Miyake and Bao Bao Issey Miyake lines.

Deciding to put a manager with great experience in manufacturing to his leadership, the label confirms its intention to place innovation, new technologies and proprietary techniques at the center of its development strategy.

The brand has also appointed Executive Directors Koji Usui and Keisuke Harukiya.
