Gucci Osteria will open the third Gucci-branded restaurant in Tokyo, the result of the partnership with Massimo Bottura, and will do so on the top floor of Gucci Namiki where it will open its flagship store in the Ginza district at the end of the month. The Tokyo opening comes after the ones in Florence in January 2018 in Piazza della Signoria inside the Gucci Garden, and in Los Angeles in Beverly Hills in February 2020. The new project was entrusted by Bottura to Karime Lòpez, head chef of Gucci Osteria in Florence which received its first Michelin star in 2020. The Tokyo restaurant will have its dedicated entrance from street level. The partnership with Gucci represents the only initiative linked to Bottura’s catering outside of Modena
