Collaboration between Gucci and the fashion-tech company Wanna, who presented a model of virtual sneakers to share in social posts or in the gaming world designed by creative director Alessandro Michele, available for purchase for 10 euros. The technology has been used by Reebok, Farfetch, Puma and Snapchat to test how consumers interact with virtual fittings, taking pictures of themselves with new products, using augmented reality. Gucci is one of the fashion houses that is betting on the virtual clothing phenomenon, collaborating with the Roblox gaming platform, the fashion styling game Drest, the 3D social media app Zepeto, Sims 4 and Pokemon to create branded products and avatars.
