In the production of bags, traditional leather is the most used (54%) followed by canvas (18%). At Gucci, the use of canvas (34.8%) is almost equivalent to that of leather (36.5%), which once again confirms the desire of the flagship brand of the French group Kering to get closer to the younger generation offering cheaper bags. At Prada, instead, nylon, its most emblematic raw material, is the most used after leather, allowing the Italian brand to reach a wider clientele in this case too.
