The two brands thus explore new creative possibilities, Gucci creatively driven by Alessandro Michele is recognized for his eclectic and decorative style while Comme des Garçons, with Rei Kawakubo, is known for his minimalist approach to fashion.
The result? A unique and personalized piece, with Gucci‘s green-red-green vertical web on a Comme des Garçons scooter.
The shopper is characterized by a curious juxtaposition between a brown craft paper with a particular plastic “shell” that gives it a contemporary industrial look, and the legendary web of Gucci with its equestrian and craft history.
In view of the upcoming holidays, the shopper was launched in November in November by Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Market Ginza as a world premiere, while the international launch took place on 6 December last.
