Givenchy‘s French savoir-faire meets Onitsuka Tiger’s Japanese know-how. Last night the brand of the Lvmh group, special guest of Pitti Uomo, has not only presented its men’s collection S / S 2020, but also revealed the beginning of a long partnership with the Japanese brand headed by Asics.

It is a double debut: Givenchy had never collaborated globally with a sneakers brand, just as Onitsuka Tiger had never entered into agreements with a luxury maison.

As shown on the catwalk set up in the garden of Villa Palmieri, the Mexico 66 Gdx sneaker was made in two versions: white and black, for both men and women.

Both models are already on sale today at 450 euros, following the ‘see now-buy now’ formula, in the flagships of the two brands, in the pop-up Line in Japan and online.
