French luxury fashion brand Givenchy dropped a brand new sneaker simply dubbed the Givenchy Leo Sneaker
Givenchy is showcasing its Leo print on new men’s and women’s pieces for Pre-Spring 2019. The graphic pulls inspiration from artistic director Clare Waight Keller’s personal star sign, in addition to the zodiac theme used in her FW18 jewelry and ready-to-wear collection. It is also a nod to the shared love of felines with founder Hubert de Givenchy.
This new release consists of a low-top designr constructed out of a smooth Black matte leather. Giving the luxe design of the shoe some pop is the lion print noted on the lateral side of the shoe done in shades of Orange and Red. More contrast on the shoe is found by way of the Grey leather heel tab which houses the Gold foil Givenchy branding. A rubber sole with additional Givenchy branding on the rear portion blends in effortlessly with the rest of the shoe’s make up. If you’re a fan of the classic sneaker look but are looking for a little bit of pop to add to your outfit grid, this is definitely an option if you feel like splurging on yourself a little.
The Leo mascot can then be seen on a raw denim and leather bomber, a sweatshirt with a faux fur hood, and oversized black T-shirts, just to name a few standouts from the assortment. The drop also includes a pair of sneakers, as well as bags and wallets.
