A new and unusual capsule collection for the Italian brand
If it is true that on the catwalks we are used to seeing everything, it is also true that every season something always manages to surprise us.
This is the case of the capsule collection created by the collaboration between GCDS and Barilla, for which the creative director Giuliano Calza did not want to use half measures.
Between provocative, captivating, sensual and sometimes dramatic looks, including 90s inspirations, cinema noir and mystery, a hoodie and a bright fuchsia beanie with the Barilla logo on display are brave.
“When we decided to start our collaboration with Barilla, the first things that came to my mind were the fuchsia color and their box of spaghetti” Giuliano said, “before it was all white or black … Today the family does not it’s just the one you were born in, who you choose, who you grow up with and who you do your experiences with. I imagined putting this unexpected package of fuchsia pasta in the middle of a table and asking everyone to think outside the box ”
The capsule collection created by GCDS for the Italian food giant will be on sale with fall-winter 2019/20.
