Francesca Bellettini, president and ceo of Yves Saint Laurent, has been nominated Alumna Bocconi of the year 2018
The award given by Bocconi Alumni Community, and which rewards an alumnus that has distinguished itself for adhering to the Bocconi values of professionalism, resourcefulness, integrity, responsibility and openness to pluralism, goes to the manager who graduated in business administration from Bocconi in 1994. “It is an honor and a further opportunity to thank Bocconi University for the impeccable training that has certainly contributed to achieving ambitious professional goals”, he commented.
After graduation, Francesca makes her professional debut in London investment banking, for Goldman Sachs International and then Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, where she supports operations for luxury fashion houses and is dedicated to extraordinary finance and, in particular, to company mergers. In 1999 he entered the fashion industry, in the Prada Group, followed by experience with Helmut Lang as Operations manager. She joined the Kering Group in 2003, where he took on the role of Strategic planning director and associate worldwide merchandising director for Gucci and then of Worldwide merchandising director for Bottega Veneta. In September 2013 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Saint Laurent. He is currently Chairman and CEO of the Maison and is part of the Executive Committee of Kering.
