Alexander McQueen reinterprets the “Four Ring” bag in a punk key in a clean, streamlined and contemporary variant.

Evolution

The shiny metal closure that characterizes the jeweled structure of the Four Ring Satchel bag is an evolution of the Jeweled Satchel model and can be worn in various ways: cross-body or on the shoulder, thanks to the adjustable leather shoulder strap, or by hand as a clutch, removing the shoulder strap. The Four-Ring bag is available in different classic and seasonal colors inspired by cruise 2022, with models in smooth coral, tan, black or ivory calfskin and in glossy crocodile embossed calfskin.

Concept

Innovative, exciting and “uncompromising” are the adjectives that best define the romantic and provocative style of Alexander McQueen, a brand that has become synonymous with modern English couture. Fulcrum of Alexander McQueen’s philosophy is the juxtaposition of contrasting elements: strength and fragility, tradition and modernity, fluidity and rigor. That of the brand is a vision characterized by an emotional and passionate approach, with an influence coming from the world of art, always with deep respect for the manufacturing tradition.

Recent history

Alexander McQueen has opened new stores in approximately 20 cities and regions in the past three years, and is working to double its retail network to more than 130 units in the medium term. The Kering-owned British brand has a retail project in Los Angeles and a store in The Rodeo Collection on North Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.

Openings

The first newly designed store opened on Bond Street in London in late 2018. Since then there have been openings in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America in locations including ITC and IFC in Shanghai; Design District in Miami and Via Sant’Andrea in Milan. Spanning nearly 11,000 square feet, the Bond Street store has soaring ceilings and a primal feel, with honey-colored, boulder-like sculptures serving as product displays, oak and walnut paneled walls, floors and ceilings and large dressing rooms.
