The floral dress remains in this 2020 the favourite trend of the spring summer collections. The most popular models look at the past: chemisier cut knotted at the waist with a skirt or pleated skirt in the fifties style, straight silhouette with a square or heart neckline and short balloon sleeves, midi model with waist belt and small printed field flowers, minidress with roses and bon ton collar up to the long fresh and chic versions. Flowers are the protagonists of collections of Canadian stylist Erdem Moralioglu or Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. More “revolutionary” versions are those with giant primroses by Jacquemus, wild safari-themed digressions by Dolce & Gabbana and studied cut outs with a sexy touch by Versace.
