Fendi calls, Nicki Minaj answers. The rapper and pop singer, considered a fashion icon thanks to her bold and sparkling style, worked with Silvia Venturini Fendi and the design team to create Fendi Prints On, a new FF Series capsule collection. The drop collection, designed for women, men and children, combines oversized and very close-fitting silhouettes, combining garments made with artisan techniques with leisure outfits.

Among the cult pieces of the capsule, the tulle dress stands out with a cascade of embroidered sequins, the maxi wind jacket in nylon organza with FF motifs, reversible down jackets and coats, the mink and sheepskin bomber jacket, the bodycon dresses embellished from asymmetric cut-outs. And yet, complete the collection t-shirts and sweatshirts, bodysuits, swimsuits, trainers and custom snow boots.
On the accessories side, the metallic silver is coated on the iconic Peekaboo and Baguette bags, on the new Kan U and on a versatile baby carrier. Even the legendary Baguette and a maxi tote are colored with fluorescent. The look of the capsule is completed by the sunglasses with a mask embellished by FFreedom details and by maxi hoop earrings in the shape of the FF logo.

The logo, as well as the portrait of Nicki Minaj, also return to the line dedicated to men, which includes basic street and leisure garments, such as t-shirts, joggers, shirts, reversible down jackets and nylon windbreakers worked in a palette silver, deep pink and black, which are also used for sneakers and baby carriers.

In the kidswear chapter, the metallic silver and fuchsia accents pervades the wardrobe alternating with FF all-over logos and the iconic rapper’s image. The capsule collection will be available in 52 Fendi boutiques worldwide and on fendi.com starting from mid-October. The signing of the advertising campaign, which sees Nicki Minaj herself as the protagonist, is Steven Klein.
