Uniqlo’s proprietary group, Fast Retailing, has announced that it will donate 10 million surgical masks to medical institutions around the world in response to the global spread of coronavirus. With the collaboration of its Chinese plant, Fast Retailing has converted its activities to the production of surgical masks. Through the Japanese government, it will supply approximately one million surgical masks to Japanese institutions that urgently need them in the country, and one million masks to Italy and the United States, through the Milan and New York agencies, and then also in others.
