Fashion week, Paris and London canceled; Milano Moda Uomo postponed from June to September

The representatives of the four main international fashion weeks scheduled in the coming months (Camera Della Moda, British Fashion Council, Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode and Cfda, respectively for Milan, London, Paris and New York respectively) met in videoconference to decide how to proceed from June onwards. The president of Camera della Moda, Carlo Capasa, announces that Milano Moda Uomo fashion shows and presentations, scheduled from 19 to 23 June 2020, will take place in Milano Moda Donna edition of September 2020. Paris Fashion Week which was to end on June 28, and London Fashion week scheduled for June 13 to 15, have been canceled, as well as the one scheduled in New York. In the summer men’s fashion agenda, the 98th edition of Pitti Uomo is scheduled from 16 to 19 June: an official choice for this event will be taken around April 7th, the date of the next meeting of the four associations. The problem, at present, no longer concerns only the possibility or otherwise of meeting by creating gatherings, but also the ability to recover the system, brands and buyers firsthand.
