H&M in first position, followed by C&A, Adidas, Reebok, Esprit and Marks Spencer, are the most “transparent” brands in the world in terms of communication of social and environmental policies according to the Fashion Transparency Index, the annual Fashion Revolution ranking that evaluates 250 of the largest fashion brands and retailers with annual sales of more than $ 400 million in the sportswear, luxury and retail trade categories. Among the indicators used for the ranking there are animal welfare, safeguarding biodiversity, attention to the climate, use of chemicals, supply chain auditing and working conditions in the countries where a brand is present or produced, gender policies, rules on recycling and reuse. Gucci has achieved the highest score among luxury brands.
