Partnership between Facebook and Gucci in the fight against the spread and sale of counterfeit products on social media. The American giant and the Italian luxury house have filed a joint lawsuit in the United States against for violation of the terms of service and conditions of use of Facebook and Instagram, as well as for infringement of Gucci’s intellectual property rights, counterfeiting of Gucci brands and unfair competition. The lawsuit is part of a strategic plan aimed at respecting intellectual property, implemented by Gucci to combat the violation of its rights both online and offline at all levels, starting from production and distribution to promotion and sale.
