Giorgio Armani designed the uniform of the Italian national football team at the European Championships scheduled from 11 June to 11 July. The uniform, signed by Emporio Armani, is a tribute to Enzo Bearzot, coach of the 1982 world victory, and consists of the light blue / white jacket with mandarin collar, in light seersucker cotton with a wrinkled effect, and soft black trousers. “I am proud – Giorgio Armani said – to dress our national team in this moment of restart, and in such an important championship. I worked on an idea of spontaneous and sporty elegance, with an authentic spirit. I imagined a light dress but full of dignity, how dignified and proud our spirit must be at this moment”.
